Arnold Arboretum Pladate
We are more connected to nature that what we give ourselves credit for!
This past weekend we visited the Arnold Arboretum with our families to enjoy a beautiful day of nature, beautiful flowers, some cool animal sights and spending some wonderful time together.
We played a cool game of scavenger hunt, where five adults got to choose five objects for all of us to find. While playing this game we practiced memorization by repeating each object after an adult shared what object we should look for.
The list was, a pink blossom tree, a white bird house, a tortuga (or turtle in English), a dog, and a mariposa (a butterfly)! With out a doubt our little explorers were able to find this and many more objects at the Arboretum! Some of us even spotted growing leaves!
When is the last time you dove into nature and really observed it?
The Arnold Arboretum is a nice place to visit and “get away from the city” with out traveling too far. Going to the Arboretum during Spring is the perfect opportunity to see many new blossoms, beautiful colors, and new creatures enjoying the season of growth!
Can you spot the white bird house in the picture?
